I am an Associate Professor in Philosophy at the Philosophy and Law department of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

I work on ethics, meta-ethics, the ethics of information technologies and on personal identity. Please take a look at my papers for a more detailed impression of my research.

I teach in the MPE (Management, Philosophy, and Economics), CBA (Computational Business Analytics) and the MADS (Master of Applied Data Science) programs at the Frankfurt School. My office hours are on appointment.

With my colleague Christine Tiefensee I organise the annual Frankfurt School Meta-Ethics Conference (FrankMeta). Please find information on FrankMeta.4 here. You can find more information about the 2017, 2018, and 2019 conferences by clicking on the respective years. I also organise the FS Philosophy Forum (formerly the Philosophy Reading Group) at the Frankfurt School. Recently, I've become a member of the project group Regulatory Theories of Artificial Intelligence of Hessen's Centre Responsible Digitality.
